Portuguese Language Courses

The Training and Development Unit (NFD) promotes for each academic year Portuguese Language Courses for all IST International Students that enroll, under mobility and cooperation programs, in Master and Doctoral Programs. International Bachelor and Integrated Master students are also admitted in Portuguese Courses.

These Portuguese language Courses aims to develop in its participants language competences in understanding, speaking and writing in Portuguese. Each course is organized considering the level of knowledge of its participants and takes as a reference to its contents the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Each Course has for every level a duration of 60 hours in classroom, and offer 1,5 ECTS. Participants will get a certification after approval in a final examination. Marks will follow a scale of 0 to 20, in which 10 is the minimum grade to get an approval.

We also want to inform that the classes can only work with a minimum of 15 students!

Fee and Payment:

80€ (IST Students), 160€ (all others) – Not applicable for KIC  and IST – ESME Protocol students.

Payment will be made by cash at the Training & Development office, in the following days and hours (Tuesday and Wednesday – 10:30-12:00; 14:00-17:00).

Your registration will only be validated after the payment.
