Short Courses

Experimental research and scientific publication are currently the underlying framework of most PHD, Master and research plans. The three short courses presented here are specifically designed for those aiming at becoming independent researchers by acquiring key skills in scientific research and publication.

The target skills are how to plan and write a scientific research paper (and thesis), how to edit the research paper for maximising publication chances and how to apply the experimental design tool to access powerful factorial statistical analyses. These skills are transversal tools across most sciences fields and key assets to establish a successful research career.

The courses have already been highly successful, with 15 editions and many satisfied participants. The courses were customised to the academic audience of all levels and research areas but also have a strong applicability for those in industrial research context. The course instructor is an experienced and specially trained researcher, 1st author of papers, course instructor and thesis supervisor.

Courses are given in english language, participants are provided with supporting documentation and obtain the opportunity to have their own work analyzed.
